Well, that'll pretty much do it. Hogs up 61-53 with 40 seconds left. 10 straight free throws drained for Arkansas won the game, as well as a strong post presence. Big win for Arkansas against a quality team.

And I know absolutely nothing about Marist or Minnesota, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the toughest game they play in the tournament.

Arkansas is a good team; I'm not upset about losing to a team like Arkansas who is going to make the tournament as well. I'm more upset at how we blew a 5 point lead with 2 minutes left in regulation and then our offense going non-existant in overtime as all of our guys were just standing around waiting for Tatum to take shots. We were without our 2 "big" guys in Shaw and Falker in the OT, but still, I didn't like what I saw.

We have to beat the loser of Marist/Minnesota and then win the game after that. I guess I won't be too disappointed if we finish 3rd in this tournament.

Marist beats Minnesota, 63-56 and they will take on Arkansas in one of the semifinals of the tournament tomorrow.

SIU will take on the Golden Gophers in the consolation round.

I just want to say that SIU has the best scoreboard abbreviation of all time.

SO ILL

I would sign with them for that reason alone.

Haha that is awesome.

Missouri State is whooping #7 Wisconsin 45-32 at half.

They shot 6-7 3 pointers and 63% at halftime. Hopefully that will balance out some.

Only down 7 now.

Missouri State held on for the victory.

well, ku vs. Fla tomorrow. KU has looked absolutely awful in every game except its first, and FLA looks in mideason form. I can't say I'm confident, though I know we have the talent to beat them. But if we come out tomorrow like we have our last 3 games, we'll lose by 30.

After seeing Purdue play and what Arkansas has done, I'm really excited for their upcoming matchups with Mizzou.

Butler up late on Gonzaga in the NIT championship, but Gonzaga is making a bit of a run.

I am scared to death of the Mizzou game. All Hogs know your coach very well and the style of play he endorses. It's a game with a traditional non-conference rival with the head coach that used to coach here--the ultimate trap game.

Wow, Butler wins.

It looks like Butler is back. Remember, a few years ago they had the reputation as one of the best 2 mid-majors. They blew out Wake Forest in a tournament game, they should have beat Florida in the 1st round in the year Florida went to the title game (Mike Miller's shot down 1 at the OT buzzer saved Florida). Then they went 25-5 in 2002 including a win over Indiana but got snubbed for the tournament, and then 2003 they beat good Mississippi State and Louisville teams before losing a close game to the number 1 seed.

They've had two bad years, but if they are back they are a tough team to beat. They make enough 3's to win, play good defense, and don't turn the ball over. That makes up for their complete lack of post presence, no size, and very little athleticism.
