In other news, Florida eeks out a victory over Prairie View A&M today.

 

Hopefully KU beats them. :twisted:

 

While we do have our starting center back (kind of), I wouldn't bet on it. UF is clicking, and we're playing like garbage right now.

While we do have our starting center back (kind of), I wouldn't bet on it. UF is clicking, and we're playing like garbage right now.

 

They've also played a hilariously bad schedule thus far. 308th of 335

 

To compare, you guys are at 194 (Mizzou is at 160, woot)

Penn State beats Bucknell in OT with a 3 at the buzzer. Their first road game is at Georgia Tech. Crikey!

What do you think about tonight's game? I'm pretty worried about your freshman PG vs. Collison.

They have to come out strong and won't come back on UCLA if they get down as they did the previous two nights. I'm worried about Critt playing 3 straight tough games, so I don't expect to be at his best. Tonight should be a nice test of how deep this team is. Hewitt will substitute even more than usual to keep players fresh.

 

UCLA goes 10 deep, but really relies on the first 5. Tech goes 9 deep and all 9 get quality minutes (every player is averaging at least 12 min/game). Maybe Tech just wears UCLA out in this one...

 

and meet again in March...

Congratulations to the Butler Bulldogs. Another good win out of them beating Tennessee 56-44 and advancing to the NIT final to play the winner of North Carolina/Gonzaga. Butler's really trying to make a case here to take them as an at-large even if they don't win the Horizon League.

Can't wait to finally see the Hogs in action in a few minutes in the opening game of the Old Spice Classic. I'll be torn between this and the Dolphins/Lions game that starts in a half hour. I really think the Razorbacks will break top 25 this season and be very dangerous down the stretch.

 

EDIT: wasn't somebody here a SIU fan?

That Harris kid is pretty good, a lot better than I thought previously.

 

Cuse, I placed a wager on them playing a really bad UNCC team and I loved Cuse at home minus 13. Only won by 12 :(

 

I was really rooting hard for them in 03 in that final four as I was a huge 'Melo fan.

I was really rooting hard for them in 03 in that final four as I was a huge 'Melo fan.

 

They are always a hard team to judge in the beginning of the year. We definately are not dominate and have too many turnovers so far this year against average competition to really be a good team, plus Mookie (Watkins) their starting center was out with an injury. Sorry you lost money on them.

Unfortunately, our offense has turned the ball over a ton too and that's where most of Arkansas' points have come from.

 

26-24 SIU at half.

It'll be close to around 35%. This game is playing right into SIU's style. We have to take advantage of this down the stretch.

Wow, that dunk was amazing.

 

Looks like Arkansas's size is starting to get to SIU.

 

Beverley is going to be a stud.

 

Tatum drills a 3 to tie the game at 42 with a little under 9 to play in regulation.

The thing that excites me about Beverley is his defense. Hes's a heck of a shooter and a playmaker, but he really gets down on D. That's huge for this team. A lot of boards today, too.

 

Missed free throws are killing the Hogs right now. Townes and Thomas are dominating.
