RBIs are tasty.

And can get you some pretty nice contracts if you do it often enough.

Don't have to consistently, if you want one from the Cubs. Just had to do it once, and even that was based on opportunities.

Len's going to get himself fired with this not enough walk talk.

Werd. Len is obviously a proponent of clogging the bases, and that cannot be tolerated.

Where's Merker when you need him?

CUBS are 40-28 when their pitchers average 16 pitches per inning or less..... 15-52 when they don't

Go CUBS !!

There're 0-2 when my dog scratches his head in front of the TV.

Nice squeeze.

Oh, come on now !! As worthless stats go, this one actually has some value !!

btw.... you might want look into getting that mutt de-clawed, eh?

I'll bet that stat is good for every team...the 16 pitch thing not my dog.

And no one calls him a mutt....my mother called him a mutt once....just once.

I just got done telling my friend I'm glad Ryan Howard has stepped up so we might have a challenger to Pujols in the 'best player' category. And then he goes and matches Howard

The point was not that the stat was unique to the CUBS, but rather that Guzman was at 64 pitches through 4 innings, and that another poster had just opined that Guzman is throwing too many pitches.
