All around that was a fairly played game against a real bad team. Last year, that probably would've been a 13-3 type of game. For the 1st week, I'm impressed.

Most impressed with Moose and Clark. Grossman did well also.

What bothers me is the red zone play calling. It seemed like once we went up 13-0, Turner started screwing around with HB option passes and draw plays when Grossman was just picking GB's defense apart.

They need TD's when they go up against better teams. 1 TD and 4 FG's isn't going to cut it all year long.

The RZ you are refering to was bad, ill agree. Maybes its me but i was still in the conservative dont mess this up lets take our 3 mode. After what i say today from moose i think they should go more moose. he is a legit RZ WR threat that is hard for defenses to match up. I didnt see isolation plays to moose today in the RZ, i would like to see that more.

I forgot to mention players I was disappointed in...

I thought the O-line did a poor job in general, not much running room for Jones/Benson and Miller espec. on Kampman for pass protection.

The play calling was interesting, I like the emphasis w/McKie as well Clark. I would've like to have seen more 3 WR sets on 1st down as well as more draws and screen towards Kampman's side.

I didn't think it was possible for the Fox post-game show to spend less time on the Bears. 10 seconds for Hester's return and that was it.

I guess Favre not doing well means that they're contractually obligated to downplay the game.

And yeah, the run blocking continues to be a concern.

pleasantly surprised by Moose and Desmond Clark!

There are some things that need improving, but it's Game 1. I have faith in Lovie in the staff, especially after how we started last season and turned it around.

REX: 3-0 vs. the Packers

Lovie: 3-1 vs. the Packers, 3-0 at Lambeu

Only the last few that they didn't care to talk about. No mention of this being the first time that Favre's offense has been shutout. No mention of the 4th longest scoring streak in NFL history ending. No mention of Rex Grossman.

They sure can talk about TO, though.

I'll have video highlights up in a bit.

Oh i forgot one of my highlights of today. The packer fans sat on their hands ALL game. It was great. My wife and i cant stand packer fans, we hate them worse than the packers themselves. I think i heard that hillbilly chat of 'go pack go' like 1 time. I mean how good is that?! They had absolutely nothing to cheer about. I bet the Packers never had 2 good plays in a row today. SMOKED.
