Yo, Clint Dempsey is pretty good. Looking as hot as he was during WC qualifying.

He's beasting right now. Sharp.

They have to replace Cooper and Gonzalez and Pineda, though. Cooper gives no help to Yedlin, Gonzalez is slow as [expletive] and moves like a donkey, and Pineda is just a bad fit with Alonso.

C'mon now, you should know: You'll Never Walk Alone.

Four to go. . . will be tougher without Henderson (hopefully Sturridge is fine).

That was a fun game. Glad Liverpool pulled it out. Kompany makes lots of blunders.

Too bad Clattenburg didn't have the balls to send off Suarez for diving like he should have.

If Sturridge and Suarez would have bothered to pass the ball to each other properly (moreso Sturridge than Suarez; Sturridge played like a selfish idiot), then that game could have ended 5-2.

No Henderson for 3 of their last 4 is going to hurt them. If I'm not mistaken, he'll miss the Chelsea game, which could be huge.

Yes, he misses Norwich, Chelsea, and Crystal Palace. He's a very big loss -- especially for Chelsea, as you said. At least this is one area where Liverpool have some depth, as they can call on Allen or Lucas. Obviously I'd rather play Henderson, but for a team that is thin compared to the other top level clubs, it could have been worse. Though the Gerrard-Lucas pairing struggled early in the year; expecting Allen to be the first choice.

For all the sublime moments between Suarez and Sturridge, they have battled bouts of selfishness. Maybe that's to be expected.

Before we canonize Stevie G for crying after a big W, just a reminder that he is a total piece of garbage who beats people up because they don't like his Phil Collins jukebox game at the bar.

John Henry is a great owner, Brendan Rogers might be a great manager, Raheem Sterling is a blast, Dan Sturridge seems cool and works hard on his game and competes like a mf'er but between the thug fan factions, Luis Suarez and Stevie G, there's still a ton to hate about this club.

lol.

He's an athlete. You should pretty much presume they're all arrogant jerk meatballs. That goes for your team too--whatever team that is.

Edit: Raheem Sterling? Hahaha, right, the guy that assaulted his girlfriend is cool but the guy that gets into fights (with other guys) and the guy that dives aren't cool. Again: they're arrogant jerk meatballs. Best to ignore and move on.

Speaking for myself, I like my Scouse footballers to be the kinds of people that go to the pubs after games and start barfights because someone turned off "A Groovy Kind Of Love".

Also speaking for myself, Suarez flopping like a tuna in front of David Moyes last year after scoring more than makes up for his perpetual submarine impersonation.

Obviously I missed that Raheem Sterling story. Have fun with your dream season, though. Wasn't trying to act like Liverpool are any different than every pro sports team. That is exactly my point, actually. A lot of romanticism about this team out there right now. Not from you, just the media in general.

Sterling was found not guilty of the most recent one, but it's not the only time he's been alleged to have assaulted a woman. So, either he just happens to date women that unfairly accuse him of beating them . . . or Occam's Razor something something.

It's sad and depressing that it has to be this way. But when we fight about the righteousness of different teams, we all lose.

Good day for Liverpool and Arsenal. City ties Sunderland at home 2-2 and Everton loses at home 3-2.

So either Mourinho or Suarez is going to win the title now. I really don't know who to root for in a couple weeks.

Wow. That's amazing. Sunderland gets their lifeline at the bottom while Man City gets theirs at the top. Now they just need Chelsea to beat Liverpool next weekend.
