Not only did he take a shot to the face while in mid-air, but it looks like he also took a pole fault to the groin while under water.

I'm about 10 minutes behind but I just saw these two plays. And yeah, Hleb got fouled there. It probably would have been a free kick rather than a penalty because it was literally right on the edge of the penalty area but either way, not a dive from Hleb.

 

EDIT: Arsenal is playing well right now and the game has been pretty even.

I'm going to predict a goal in the last ten minutes from Inzaghi that will send Milan on though I'm only 50 percent sure on that. The other 50 percent is that Kaka will score. Either way I bet Milan wins this thing late.

Between Adebayor's miss on the header in the first game and the chances they have missed in this game, they could easily have this wrapped up. But they have played very well tonight being without Eduardo and Van Persie.

Walcott just made a bad decision to cross instead of shoot. These are the games that Arsenal just can't seem to win the Champions League in the past couple of years.

Yeah. Arsenal deserved to win the first leg and have, at the very least, played even with Milan in this one. They've certainly had the better chances to score and could say they have played well enough to win both legs.

As it stands right now there are two games that would go to extra time if the results remain the same. Along with this one, Sevilla is beating Fenerbahce 3-2 and the aggregate is 5-5 with everything even.

 

Barcelona is the only team to have guaranteed advancing as they're up 1-0 on Celtic and 4-2 on aggregate. Celtic would have to get three goals to advance.

By Milan standards this team is nowhere near that good. Still better than most, just not up to their standards. Pato is going to be a great one though.

 

For the record I love Wenger. I really can't think I would rather have anyone else the world manage Arsenal. Easily the manager of the year IMO.

 

Theo Walcott can simply fly.

Man U defeats Lyon 1-0 and advances with a 2-1 win on aggregate. Along with them, Arsenal and Barcelona are also in the semifinals.

 

EDIT: There could be four English teams in the final eight with these results. Liverpool would need to have a colossal choke job not to advance and Chelsea have to be considered the favorite to defeat Olympiacos.

Roma are all but through. 71st minute and Pepe just went off for Madrid. Looks like Schalke are through on aggregate and Chelsea is up 3-0 and I can safely say are going through.
