I'm at this game. Total [expletive] show.

You should find someone at USSF and ask for your money back.

Luckily, I'm friends with the team doctor so I didn't pay, but we tried going into the locker room after the game and they wouldn't let us for safety reasons because the teams were fist fighting in the tunnel after the game. Literally the whole thing was a disaster.

Random thought and I have been drinking. After we blowup the entire USSF we offer Sir Alex the managerial position only through the WC then have him take over the entire youth organization or Gulati's job as well after 2018.

Really don't see how this is Jurgen's fault. It's not his fault US doesn't have the soccer talent to compete with the best soccer nations. In Mexico or Brazil, your top athletes play soccer. In America, they play football, basketball, hockey, and baseball before they play soccer. I'm not gonna sit here and say Jurgen shares no blame but I really doubt you can find someone better than him to put you on par with the rest of the world. It's just not going to happen.

Ladies and gentleman, Sunil Gulati.

Funny how our last coach had us playing a lot better with lesser overall talent. And knew how to set us up tactically. And made really good in-game adjustments. But got fired because he lost to Mexico in the Gold Cup.

Those are all [expletive] excuses. There's more than enough talent in the pool. Jurgen doesn't know how to identify it or coach it or put the players in the best positions to succeed. He's the worst coach I've seen in my life and I saw Steve Sampson coaching the NT.

It's always been Klinsmann's fault because he alienates our best players and constantly plays others out of position. Klinsmann also shits on our league. We're better than Mexico. We're better than Panama. We're better than Jamaica. Yet we don't beat any of them. Some of our best wins lately have turned out to be against overrated teams (Germany, Netherlands.) We're better than this, yet we're not.

Funny how from 2001 to 2011 the player pool still had the same built in excuse about basketball and football and we still managed to own Mexico on US soil.

Jurgen just blamed the refs for losing the gold cup and even having to play this game.

His stated goals were:

Win gold cup. Fail.

Qualify for Olympics. In process of failing.

Go to confederation cup. Fail.

Those were his stated, tangible goals. Doesn't even touch his intangible goals around style of play and bringing in young players. Which he has failed at completely.

There is no defense of this guy based in reality. If you just like him and think he's cool, then whatever.

If he wanted to blame the refs for having to play Mexico specifically in this game, I could understand that. But I don't remember getting screwed over in the Jamaica game. They beat us. What a dumbass.

Just curious, where did you see this? I want to read/watch it.

Small world soccer story of yesterday:

Belgium qualified for next year's Euro Championship by beating Andorra away (as expected)

Four minutes before the end, Andorra brought on a midfield sub called Edu Peppe.

His day job is working as a waiter in a hotel - the same hotel the Belgian team was staying.

So he had started the day serving them breakfast, and ended it facing them in a soccer game.

You can't make this [expletive] up

please be the precursor to JK getting fired. please be the precursor to JK getting fired.

also....saving that 3rd sub for Rimando when Jones was about to die on the field and was responsible for goal #2 for Mexico is beyond baffling.
