Awesome video. Did you have a vid of the Alou/Sosa back to back jacks in 2004?

Also, I think the Cubs do not have a walk off win at all this year. Any stats on how many walk off wins other teams have?

The very first HR on there is the back end of Sosa and Alou's back2back shots. It's true, the Cubs have not gotten a walk of win this yr.

Have the Cubs even had a lead in the 9th?

Yes, at least 45 times. And then add in the 5 blown saves by Dempster.

Awesome video. Well done.

I'd love to see some walkoffs from earlier years, and even dare I say the Harry Caray era.

Sounds like you could have an ongoing project.

HERO SIGHTING!!! (sammy sosa)

Also, the walker slide towards the end is probably my favorite of the whole video.

Yes, that was amazing. That Oakland game, and the games around that time were amazing. Too bad we coughed it up at the end of that season, that was a good team.

Hey cl,

I posted this in another thread but I'm not sure if you saw it. Do you have the Farnsworth-Wilson fight video? I can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

I like to hear the calls. If you extend it any, try to have just an instrumental track, and keep the calls audable over the music.

Everytime i try and download it, it says "this page has expired". I've tried like 5 times and it won't work. Any suggestions?

Wow, that Corey Patterson guy looks pretty good. Wonder what every happened to him. The Cubs probably gave him away for nothing?

Also, I couldn't help but notice all those games seemed to be at Wrigley. Can't the Cubs ever win one on the road?

Seriously though, great video. I love when you guys that have a helluva lot more computer skill than I do, put together these videos. That is the kinda stuff I need in December/January when I really got that baseball jones...and I'm still somewhat optimistic about the Cubs season. :P

It wouldn't be a walk-off win then

hey aramis fan, nice job with the video. i liked the way you synched up the wgn radio broadcast feed with the cubs/rockies game. being a major in sound, i think you did very well. :) is there a way you could make another copy with just the announcers voices in it? i dig the "go cubs go" song, but the announcers calls give the video a little more energy if you know what i mean.

i was at three of those games in the video...the cubs/reds 11-10 game (sosa and alou back to back home runs), the cubs/a's game (walker's superman slide into home for the winning run) and the aforementioned cubs/rockies game. i got goosebumps watching this...i miss winning cubs baseball. :( and on a side note, i unfortunately do not have the farnsworth/wilson fight on tape or on my computer. what i can do, though, is sometime this week, i could encode game #163 from '98 to my computer and send it to someone who is interested in it (or at least the ending and celebration). let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Speaking of that Farnsworth fight, anybody remember this?

That was real good. If only we had him for when Barrett punhced AJ. We could also use him on the Bears defense. Him and Urlacher on the same defense...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!
