Over/under on runs Hill gives up: 5

I'll take the under on that. He's due for a decent start. He can't be this bad, can he?

Im' still waiting to see what everybody loves about hill. That being said, i'd rather watch him struggle than rusch.

I agree about Iz! I thought I was the only fan that loves this trade!

Can't wait to see that awesome middle infield defense helping out a primarily fly ball pitcher!

This is getting old. Please stop. I've read enough of posts like this in the maddux/walker rant/trade threads. Please stop, it's hurting me. I mean this honestly and in peace.

The solution is quite simple: Go to another message board.

No. A better solution would be for guys here to stop moaning about Izturis and see what he can do for the Cubs the rest of the year. The easy solution is to moan and complain. I've done enough moaning for this year already. Now I'm ready to look foward to next year. Izturis is obviously part of that plan.

That's what I've been moaning about!

I will be at this game tonight, out in the bleachers, wearing a ridiculous orange open-collared shirt to show off my chest hair, a pair of aviators, skinny chino pants, brown patch shoes, and a brass lamp chain necklace. The sad part is that the pants and shoes are pretty much part of my normal wardrobe. Oh, and the chest hair.

I'll be looking for you!

The only problem with that is Bynum can't start since he's on the DL.

I know, but the point was better made with Bynum instead of JJ. Scary thought that Jacque Jones looks like a stud compared to the some of the others on this offensively-challenged roster.

Im' still waiting to see what everybody loves about hill.

A fabulous curve ball. Although, beautiful that his breaking pitch is, he's still somewhat of a one-trick pony. He needs to better develop his other pitches and work on his location. His awesome curve completely befuddles AAA ballplayers, but the boys in The Show aren't so easily seduced by it.

That's my take, FWIW.

Keep the fastball down away, ala Glavine...and throw that beatiful bender, just don't throw it 3 times in a row to a batter! I think he'll be fine with some confidence.

WGN radio seems to think it's likely. Enjoy the weather!! Bring a poster about how the Cubs are chokers and maybe ryan dempster will sneak up on you and soak you with the water hose.

Instead of running and hiding..... why don't you come down to the truck stop in Ontario and buy me breakfast in the morning, eh?

Amazing.

Yes, Izzy is starting. Your second baseman--Cedeno? No, it's Neifi. Either Neifi or Baker (preferably both) have to go.

Perhaps Cedeno is still working on his switch to 2nd base? Taking grounders or what ever. I'm trying here guys...
