Hill Goes for the Cubs, trying to prove that he is a Major Leaguer. I predict that this will be his breakout start and will be a fixture in the rotation the remainder of the season.

 

For all the trades and the "ill will" toward the Cubs leadership in the past 24 hours, at least we have live baseball to return to. Remember all, no matter who is playing for the Cubs, at least they are still playing. Cubs, Baseball is, afterall, why we have all come together on this board. Enjoy it while it lasts because guaranteed, we will miss it come October.

No offense to Raisin but the way this season has been going, everybody has a chance to start a long streak (4 is long for the Cubs) when the Cubs play the Cardinals this year.

He'll probably be with the team, but won't start. Last I heard on the radio is Dusty wants to "talk" with him, to see where he fits in. I think he mentioned taking practice to access where he is. So I think Dusty will run Neifi out there at SS while letting Cedeno get his first game in at 2B.

No. A better solution would be for guys here to stop moaning about Izturis and see what he can do for the Cubs the rest of the year. The easy solution is to moan and complain. I've done enough moaning for this year already. Now I'm ready to look foward to next year. Izturis is obviously part of that plan.
