I don't see the problem here. He was making an observation on the agressiveness and pitching styles of the young guys. And in my opinion he's right.

 

I do think Hill should be starting for the rest of the year so he gets a chance to get comfortable in the majors. As has been brought up a lot, not all guys have that level of confidence to succeed right away.

 

My problem is that he has been involved in a number of heated discussions regarding Rich Hill on this board (including one in yesterday's game thread). There's nothing wrong with his opinion, but it's getting to a point where I'm absolutely sick and tired of people stirring the pot just to cause trouble. We've covered Rich Hill's ability/inability to perform as a major leaguer. There is no reason to keep drudging it up again and again to backhandedly bash other posters, prove a point, or just make trouble.

 

There was absolutely no need to bring Rich Hill into the conversation of Marmol's ability.

 

I'm not trolling dude. I'm just making a observation between the confidence and mound presence between Cubs pitchers starting their ML careers at the same time. I think it's a important factor as to why Rich Hill has failed at the ML level. Sorry you took it as trolling but no need to get upset about it. It's cool...

edit - I'd actually wait for a early inning AB on Sunday, but I really hope something is done about this.

The one good thing about this season, no matter how bad it has gotten I can still laugh in the face of my best friend who is a Cardinals fan. I love how the Cards meltdown again 'em. Yeah they are in 1st place but it still gets on his nerves! :twisted:
