Ryan Theriot will be returned to Triple-A Iowa on Friday so the Cubs can make room on their roster for Mark Prior.

Theriot had two hits in nine at-bats this time up with the Cubs. He should get another look in September.

 

You can always count on the Cubs to do what makes the least sense.
