having this matchup in the same round with the who versus genesis is a travesty - unless you are only considering peter gabriel genesis, which many people have never heard.

I like both, but Sabbath did a lot more for Rock. I think of CSNY more as folk music.

A song like "Our House" or "Wind on the Water" just isn't rock to me. (And that's not to say that I don't think they're good songs, either)

neil young should be considered separately though.

He's got some great hits, but no solo artists in this tournament.

way to pick the two least rocking songs in the CSNY catalog. On the flip side I can say that "Almost Cut My Hair" or "Ohio" rock harder than "All of My Love" by Led Zeppelin

Just listened to A National Acrobat. God I love that song.

Actually, the whole Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album.......there's nothing like catching a band right when they are teetering on the edge, ready to implode.

Neil Young, alone, would beat Sabbath and CSN, even CSNY. His albums Zuma, Everybody knows this is Nowhere, Rust Never Sleeps, Ragged Glory, Tonight's the Night, Reactor, On the Beach, Freedom, Mirrorball- the list is ridiculous. I realize that solo artists aren't in this poll, but if they were....
