4+20 years ago I came into this life

The son of a woman and a man who lived in strife

He was tired of being poor

And he wasn't into selling door to door

And he worked like the Devil to be more

A different kind of poverty now upsets my soul

Night after sleepless night I walk the floor and want to know

Why am I so alone?

Where is my woman, can I bring her home?

Have I driven her away, is she gone?

Morning comes the sunrise and I'm driven to my bed

I see that it is empty and there's devils in my head

I embrace the many colored beast

I grow weary of the torment, can there be no peace?

And I find myself just wishing that my life would simply cease.

CSNY seems misplaced in a rock tourney.

Right on. Sabbath rocked, CSNY didnt. Did CSNY Sell their soul for Rock N Roll? No. Its Sabbath here.

Who the hell is CSNY?

please tell me you aren't serious

Ohhhh, Crosby, Stills, and Nash. And Young. I've never heard them referred to as CSNY before. Thank goodness for Google.

I like both, but Sabbath did a lot more for Rock. I think of CSNY more as folk music.

A song like "Our House" or "Wind on the Water" just isn't rock to me. (And that's not to say that I don't think they're good songs, either)

CSNY all the way, even though I do enjoy Sabbath.

Well then

can I walk beside you

I have come to lose the smog

And

I feel like I'm a cog in something turning

And maybe

it's the time of year

Yes and maybe it's the time

of man

And I don't know who I am

But life is for

learning

Yeah, but the CSNY version is incredible.

CSN isn't rock.

Sabbath shook the earth.

Easy choice here. CSN shouldn't be in this tourney-----I like them, but they don't belong here. I promise I'd vote them high in the folk/vocal tunes tourney. They are arguably the best ever there...
