Over/under on how many games Theriot goes before starting again:

3.5

I'm betting he doesn't another start until the September call-ups. Not that I think that he is any great shakes, but I don't see why he couldn't be a Craig Counsell type, which would be an improvement over the Neifi-types this team usually employs.

Cubs win!

Zambrano moves to 9-3.

The second-half run begins...now!

It's amazing that Z has a 9-3 record on this horrible team.

I would've been shocked at 2 XBH's and a walk for Theriot but I was already floored by the fact that he actually played, and batted SECOND too!

I don't see why we don't start The Riot every day. He's been tearing it up in AAA is that right? Trade Walker and see if The Riot has what it takes to be your starting 2B next year. Honestly, I think Theriot, Hill, and Guzman should all be here right now.

I have called the Cubs crap in 3 game threads so far, and they have responded by scoring 26 runs in those 3 games.

Hey! Stop making sense!

Theriot wasn't exactly "tearing it up", although he had solid numbers I suppose. Mike Fontenot on the other hand....

Oh ok, I just heard talk of THE riot on wgn or the score about him and hill. I figured that means they are both doing good (I KNOW Hill is doing great). I also heard pat and ron talk about some kid piching in AAA or AA named Weaver? They said to remember that name. I might have gotten that name wrong.

One can only wish we had Jered Weaver in the organization. I would think that they were talking about Randy Wells.
