Theriot wasn't exactly "tearing it up", although he had solid numbers I suppose. Mike Fontenot on the other hand....

Oh ok, I just heard talk of THE riot on wgn or the score about him and hill. I figured that means they are both doing good (I KNOW Hill is doing great). I also heard pat and ron talk about some kid piching in AAA or AA named Weaver? They said to remember that name. I might have gotten that name wrong.

Gallagher? Wells?

Also, I don't see Theriot as being much more than a 25th man.

Yes, it's Wells. If Mike Fontenot is, on the other handing. . . then we should call him up!!

And he's not even on the 40 man.

What's his position? Sorry I don't keep up on the minors except for a few pitchers here and there.

Fontenot's a second baseman.

I would've been shocked at 2 XBH's and a walk for Theriot but I was already floored by the fact that he actually played, and batted SECOND too!

Well, sort of 2 extra base hits. The triple was just the medium fly ball that the right fielder couldn't see-nice to see Theriot going full speed though in case it dropped in order for him to get all the way to third, and it was still a very nice game for him. The whole team was also incredibly patient today with Glavine, which is always nice to see against someone who likes to nibble like he does.
