According to the front page of mlb.com, AJ has a slim lead in voting followed by Liriano and the Hafner. Voting last until 6 pm est tonight.

Note: I don't really care if AJ gets in even though both Liriano and Hafner are more deserving. For that matter,Ramon Hernandez is more deserving. But, I just don't want to listen to Buck and McCarver malign Barrett and what he did. AJ will get in and they will use him as a segue to talk about Barrett and frustration and the Cubs' overall frustration.

Sigh. How I wish there was a Yankees or Red Sox player to compete on that ballot. The only groups more fanatical about blindly voting online for their teams are Yankees and Red Sox fans.

I'm voting like crazy for Liriano and Hafner. Both deserve it.

Just vote for Liriano, he's closer to AJ. Thats my strategy.

I have to watch it, my Mets fan wife is going to make me.

Why? It is my vacation away from the Cubs.

Doesn't always work that way---last year Red Sox fan boards were getting out the vote for Podsednik...to keep out Jeter.

Does anyone know how it is determined who makes the final ballot? Obviously Hafner and Liriano should have been on it, but I'm not so sure Pierzynski should have even been there in the first place.

I hope that the White Sox don't make the World Series this year so whoever is the AL manager for the 2007 game makes it a point not to take any White Sox unless they need a rep.

If any White Sox get hurt during the game, I will be ROTFLMAO.

Online voting isn't something I see myself doing, but that said, Liriano is more deserving than AJP.
