Wonderful. 25 pitches for Capuano. Nice going, Cubs.

Hey now, they're making him work more.

After 1, he was on pace for a 63-pitch CG.

After 2, he was on pace for a 72-pitch CG.

Now, he's on pace for a 75-pitch CG.

progress

Speaking of progress, Neifi has a better batting average than Ramirez now.

this is the part where neifi saves us

You know watching Cubs games this year has been a lot like watching a burning building, it is a disaster yet you can't seem to look away.

why the hell is dust for brains putting perez 2nd?

didn't you see man? he saw 10 pitches last time up. next time, he'll swing at the first pitch, but it's all about the averages man. he'll still be averaging 5.5 pitches seen per his last two plate appearances.

Good thing Dusty loaded the lineup with righties. It's paying off like it always does.

Would you rather have Jones in there flailing away?

I know Neifi gets ripped plenty already but my god, he looks terrible everytime he steps into the batters box.

he has one of the ugliest swings ive seen
