Crue completely dominated an entire music scene for pretty much a decade. Certainly not one of the best, best, tippy top bands of all time----but 16 seems a tad low.

There will be much controversy I'm sure. I was never fully satisfied with all the rankings, but you only have 4 of each "seed".

 

Clearly this is reflective of my own biases as well as some attempt at historical accuracy. But when it comes down to it, some people might put, say, Nirvana as a #3 and others as a #14. It's all a matter of opinion. But this is just for fun, so vote for your favorites. It won't take long before the decisions will get really hard.

and that music scene is critiscized for having a crapload of fadbands as well as a flat out cookie cutter sound. Van Halen is the only respectable band in that genre IMO.
