On the way home just now, I passed by Wrigley during the 6th/7th inning of the Cubs/Sox game and who did I see crossing the street? None other than Lou Piniella.

Does he have press credentials or something that would explain why he happened to be @ Clark and Addision?

I doubt he was interviewing while Dusty is still employed, but I can still hope.... anything and anyone would be better than the current situation.

he works with ESPN

No, he works for FOX and will be calling tomorrow's game.

Ahh.... I guess that explains it. Wonder why he was there a day early though...

Network crews get to the park a day early all the time. Nothing to read into this.

How much worse does this team need to play to get a new manager? Seems that at this point Hendry doesn't care what happens with the rest of the season. (Hope that I'm wrong)

How did you recognize him? Was he throwing a base?

He was holding a sign that said, "Dusty's an idiot"!

Umm, I think we need a manager that throws a base once in a while. Dusty's lame answer for not arguing the close play at home yesterday was just that...lame. Managers fire up their teams by arguing plays, even if they can't see them. Bring on Uncle Lou...

I hope Lou does not become the next manager. He might be worse than Baker
I used to think that as well, but now, I'm not so sure. I dont' think it's physically possible to be worse than Baker has been this year.
