Team League Level W L ERA G GS SV IP H R ER HR BB SO HBP AVG TPA BK WP STR%

Iowa Cubs PCL AAA 4 0 1.50 21 0 8 30.0 22 7 5 1 8 50 0 .195 122 0 1 1.000

TOTALS 4 0 1.50 21 0 8 30.0 22 7 5 1 8 50 0 .195 122 0 1 1.000

50 ks 8 BB in 30 IP, and a 1.50 ERA

Can you put that in code so it's readable?

Sadly, I think Wuertz might be one of those AAAA pitchers. Although that K/BB rate is pretty hot.

Michael Wuertz's 3.80-ish ERA over 75 innings last season is good enough proof for me that he's more than qualified to pitch at this level.

Talk about getting screwed over by sample size. Other than Dempster, the guy was the best pitcher out of the Cubs bullpen last season. His thanks for that? 3 2/3 innings of bad performance before being banished to Triple A.

Why would you think that? He was plenty good in 75 innings at the MLB level last year.

He was a lot better than I thought. For some reason I thought his walk rate was higher. Looks like I should have just kept my mouth shut on this one.

i'm not big on wuertz, but that's a pretty strange thing to say. he's had over 100 decent big league innings. he was real good in 2005 until he got run into the ground. how novoa cracks the big league roster over wuertz is beyond me. novoa has inexplicably become one of dusty's guys despite the fact that he's awful and under 30.

the guys this organization latch onto really boggle the mind sometimes.

Yeah I ate that statement pretty good. D'oh! They play Novoa just so they can say Farnsworth was worth something.
