Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, so I won't be offended if it's moved.

I'm heading to the bleachers on Wednesday for my first and only game of the season and I am looking for suggstions as to a creative sign to display.

I'm hoping to somehow point out the incompetency of Hendry/Baker without being asked to leave the ballpark.

The best thing I have come up with so far is a poster of the three stooges with their faces replaced by pictures of MacPhail, Hendry and Baker.

Any other ideas?

Got OBP?

"Got OBP?" with a picture of the bases empty.

"Cubs Suck" because it's true.

"Fire Dusty" because it should happen.

I'll say that sometimes the most simple signs are the best signs. Not always true, but try not to overthink it.

On another note, there will be a small contingency of NSBBers in the bleachers for Tuesday's game....

should we bring the bags?

Haha id consider it

Ok, NSBBers in the bleachers on Tuesday...it'll be bag time. I live in New Orleans Saints territory, so I'll get some advice from long time Saitns fans. They perfected the art of bag wearing.

I like it. Just like I'm openly rooting for the Cubs to lose now, I'll openly cheer any bag-wearers.

It's absolutely bag time. Any team that could continually run OBP's below .300 in the top two spots in the order deserve bags.

I think some nsbb'ers should chip in when it gets us on Sports Center too. Hopefully its an embarassing game, so the protest coincides with the performance.

The trick according to a long-time Saints fan is to find a bag that has the right fit. A traditional lunch sack is too small for most heads and a typical grocery sack is a little large.

I'll see if I can locate some of the right size tomorrow before leaving town.

And if anyone can bring some extra bags for distribution on Tuesday, it will appreciated. Furthermore, if we are able to secure seats in the front row we will likely get shown on TV.

Ask the local liquor store if they've got any. From what I've seen, their brown paper bags are bigger than a lunch sack and smaller than a grocery sack.

True.

We usually have three sizes.

1. The lunch sack (Juan Pierres head)

2. A Medium sized bag w/out handles (Ideal for face covering) - I THINK these are referred to as 20-lb Bags. I may have that confused w/ the largest size, but I believe 20-LB is correct. U may try asking a manager for these.

3. those big honkin things w/ handles (only for barry bonds sized heads)

EDIT: for clarification i thought u said local grocer...I dont work at a liqour store. Try a local grocer for what i'm talking about. haha.

Roast, I demand you send me a couple dozen of the head-sized bags, pronto. Send them to the Days Inn in my name. :)
