When asked for a reason to describe the rise in pitch count, Buehrle pointed a finger at modern baseball technology.

"I think it's called Quest Tec," Buehrle said. "You see finesse pitchers struggling around baseball without getting the corners.

"I'm the most finesse guy on this team. I need my corners and those close calls. With that Quest Tec, it's no good."

Quest Tec, a device designed to give baseball a more uniform strike zone by tracking each pitch , was not in place at U.S. Cellular Field in 2005 , but is this season. But White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper won't lay the blame for his rotation's recent funk completely on this particular tool.

I can't tell which one Cooper is referring to

The funny part is that Reinsdorf asked to have Quest Tec installed (Cooper knows that so he can't complain too loudly). Buehrle on the other hand, just likes to complain...

Ques Teck is just an excuse. The last time MLB reported data, it showed that the Umpires gave the correct call @ 90% of the time.

It's a fiction of Burhle's imagination.

I really can't understand why this gets into the pitchers' head. The absence or presence of Ques Tech has nothing to do with Burhle's pitch counts.

I wonder if anyone has bothered to look up his home/road (non Ques Tech venues) PCs, walks, and hits to see if there are any discrepencies. Even if there are discrepencies it could be do to reactivity (knowing Ques Teck is present).

Okay, so let's go through the reasons why Buerhle isn't being held back from being the best pitcher known to man:

- scoreboard at Arlington tipping his pitches

- Greg Maddux throwing spitballs

- Questec pinching him on the corners

Is there anything else he can whine about? Seriously, it's always everyone else's fault but himself.

I think he also accused Dempster of being on the juice. And don't forget him taking shots at the Twins and Indians 24/7. And his attempted murder vs. Travis Hafner last year.
