Ah, oh well. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

But I can see the announcement now...

"Because of outstanding work on the field this year, We (the Cubs organization) have decided on giving Neifi Perez a 8 year contract extention effective immediatly"--Jim Hendry

But would Corey the cubbie have missed it? with one of those wild flailing swings that spun him around twice in the batter's box?

We then would have demanded his trade. Gotten a box fan in return. And put it in CF. Where it would have an OBP of .350 this season.

Oh, how hindsight is 20/20....

That pitch was right down the middle. Even Enrique Wilson could have hit that one.

Lmao.

Fantasy Comparison:

Alex Rodriguez 1120

Miguel Tejada 915

Derek Jeter 815

Neifi Perez 135

Enrique Wilson -5

Oh my god. To be 140 less fantasy points than Neifi Perez is really saying something. How is that guy still in the league?

Would you like fries with that?

Technically, he's not.

Yes. He's currently hitting .252 for the Pawtucket Red Sox.

The only reason he's in Pawtucket is because the BRS invited him to spring traing because he is one of ManRam's best friends. Ownership wanted spring training to be more ManRam friendly.

Wasn't part of his reason being on the Cubs being ARam's good friend? Is that how he actually is able to be in professional baseball?

The ironic part of the home run is it was after a 2 out walk.

No the most ironic part is that Neifi made actual contact with the bat on the ball.
