Well dude he had good stuff dude. He k'd 5 guys in under four innings so it wasn't his stuff. They were just on tonight. Gotta give them credit dude.

Did I mention he had good stuff tonight?

Wow. Did you hear Pat Hughes. Rusch has basically allowed a HR every 3 innings, slightly under that even.

Isn't it time for Rusch to go to the glue factory?

What are you talking about? Didn't you see the appearance where he k'd NINE guys in FOUR innings. Everyone knows that is more important then handing out homers like candy on Halloween. Just ask Dusty.

Watching Glendon Rusch pitch and thinking of Dusty's staunch support = baseball fan's version of ipecac.

Having to sit in the booth day after day this year has got to be one of the worst jobs in sports.

Not really. Take a three hour nap then sign off by saying,"Cubs lose again, but we'll turn it around tomorrow."

There has to be a way to work Dusty, manager and spent last night at a Holiday Inn Express into a commercial.

*Todd Walker walks into the clubhouse and sees Pierre and Neifi penciled in to the 1 and 2 slots in the order*

Todd: Hey Dusty, this has to be a mistake. Pierre and Neifi have .287 and .213 on-base percentages respectively. Those are both pretty awful. Shouldn't they bat later in the order?

Dusty: But they're both fast dude, and they're both not white so they can handle the summer heat better. Plus, Pierre's been putting the ball in play hard he just hasn't gotten the breaks, dude.

Todd: What are you talking about? Pierre's slugging this year is lower than Glendon Rusch's. Haven't you ever managed a team before?

Dusty: Ummm, no. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

*Todd looks at the camera stone-faced*

Todd: Oh, no.

I don't understand. Once you get past that point of caring, the Cubs are really an entertaining team to watch. Just a negatively entertaining team. Plus they get to be paid to watch other teams tee off on the Cubs.

Thanks. :x They have Bynum listed in LF in the boxscore, but said in the inning update that he was playing SS.
