Just to throw another stat out there from Elias. The last time a team won a Game 7 on the road in the World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, or NBA Finals was 1979 when the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Baltimore Orioles to win the World Series.

What about a Game 6 on the road?

Not sure on that but the stat I listed above proves my point that Miami needs to win Game 6. I'm not saying they can't win Game 7 on the road, I'm just saying that it's extremely hard.

I never get tired of MJ &/or BULLS win hi-lites........yesssssssss

I got tired of the MJ-Wade comparison, the point of the highlights.

I hear ya.....it gets tiring when it just goes from Kobe-toLeBron-Wade-etc as to who becomes the "next" MJ.

I was lucky and saw MJ play at UNC and w/ the Bulls numerous times, even in the Finals,....just quit the comparisions cause there was only one.

First, Dwyane Wade shot as many free throws (25) as the entire Dallas team in Game 5. I just don't see how there's any way this can happen in a fairly-called game. It's theoretically impossible.

There is one exception to this that I can think of and that's when teams used to do the Hack-A-Shaq and would just grab Shaq up until there were two minutes left in the half (when the foul became a shoot the free throws and get the ball back situation) to send him to the line. Shaq often had games where he would shoot 20+ FT's and occasionally had a game with 30+ FTA. He even had a game where he shot an unbelievable 39 FT's against Indiana in Game 2 of the 2000 NBA Finals. I'm not old enough to remember if they did this to Wilt as well but I believe they did IIRC.

I believe that Wade broke Bob Petit's record for free throw attempts in an NBA Finals game.....so the numbers go back for a while

He was saying that in the context of Wade being a SG, not a big man.

How many times will Stackhouse miss a dunk in this series? Nice start, Mavs.

Well, I dont know if the foul calls have been overly poor in this game. I'm just hoping it's fair. I don't want to hear from people complaining about foul discrepencies again.

Wow, how the hell did Mourning get away with that crap without getting a technical?

The refs were too busy calling in a medical crew because they thought he was having a seizure.
