He's up over 90 pitches. If this inning lasts much longer, I hope Dusty gets somebody up. I don't want to see no 150 pitch individual accomplishment. If he can give you 7 innings with only 1 run given up, you should take it.

Seeing as the season is already in the tank, I'd let him stay out until he gave up a hit. I mean, how many legitimate chances at a no hitter does a pitcher realistically have in his career. Of course, I'd also make sure he had a couple of extra days rest before running him back out there too.

Knowing the Cubs, Dusty will leave him in, he'll throw 150+ pitches, walk a couple in the ninth and give up a three run homer, lose the game and then go on the DL after his arm falls off.

But then again, I'm an optimist

Think 105's enough for Dusty to pull him?

Nope. But you have to have a reliever warm early in the inning. You don't wait for the first hit to get somebody up, when he's already thrown this many and struggled as much as he has.

BYNUM, YOU HIDEOUS, BEAUTIFUL BASTARD!

Damn...want to see Cubs win...but it might mean Dusty getting extended. Want to see Cubs win...but if it's courtesy of Bynum, he gets more playing time.

ARRRRRGH! BRAIN HURT!

Pitch 1 - Called Strike

Pitch 2 - In play, out(s) recorded

Aramis Ramirez singles on a ground ball to center fielder Andruw Jones.

That doesn't make any sense.

Pitch 1 - Swinging Strike

Pitch 2 - In play, run-scoring play

Freddie Bynum homers (2) on a fly ball to right field. Aramis Ramirez scores.

That makes even less sense.
