It'll be nice to see Kid K back taking the bump today. I've always been a Wood fan. I know, I know he's always hurt and whatever else....But when he's "on", there is no other pitcher that is more fun to watch.

Gotta agree here. Wood, for better or worse, has been mythic, if not ultimately a tragic figure with the injuries, since his 20-K game in '98. Rothschild said they'd keep him around 85 pitches and not extend him much in his first big league start this season.

 

All in all, it is now accurate to say, "WE GOT WOOD!"
