new favorite player is russ springer...why walk barry when you can drill him with ball four.

Did that just happen? Awesome!! Genius on the part of Springer.

got him the automatic ejection, but to a standing o

exxxxxxcellant.....

huh? is he injured right now? i don't see your point.

my point is that not only is he a bum with a lifetime OPS of .800 but he is brittle to boot.

No way we should be giving him $11M a year.

a measly .886 ops from 2003-2005 too. what a loser.

and how many years has he played 145 games in a season?

Since 2001 (including that year): 3 times.

Would've had 100+ RBIs if he played more than 123 games last year.

I would cheer for him every day from now on.

3 above 145... one at 142, last year at 123 due to injuries.

So let me see, he hits, he's relatively healthy...but he's still a bum. Go figure.

I'm going to post this once more.

WATCH. THE. LANGUAGE.

If a Mod sees any cute contractions or replacements with symbols, there will be specific warnings, followed by 48 hour vacations. Got it?

and if you take everything the Padre announcers say as complete truths, he's a top 5 defensive 3B too.

he's played in 145 games plenty of times. according to your arbitrary standards he has been relatively healthy.

you call .217 hitting?

.800 OPS hitting?

.327 lifetime OBP?

has only played in 145 games thrice in 2001,2003, and 2004.

not worth it.

Give me a break. He's in a slump right now. Let's see how much of a "bum" he is in August when he's around .300 with 20 HR.

Since he was a full time starter in 2001? Basically 4/5 years.

.886 OPS in 2001 34/112

bad year in 2002

.790 OPS in 2003 with 27/106

.951 OPS in 2004 with 36/103

.926 OPS in 2005 with 31/92

Do you get tired of saying stupid things and being wrong?

Can someone give me an updated definition of troll? I apparently have a dated understanding of the term.

Him, Rolen, and A-Rod are likely the top 3 throughout the entire season. Yes, Ramirez has slow starts.
