49ers draft Michael Robinson, QB from Penn St. He was announced as a RB however and is listed on ESPN's draftcast as a WR.

he's all things to all people

And the Bears shore up the 29th ranked offense in the NFL by taking a OLB

I'm showing him as an inside LB, at 6'2", 250. I'd rather the Bears pick another RB over an ILB.

late comer to the thread, and I don't know alot about the football draft, but isn't this the second year in a row the Bears used a high draft pick to get somebody that was not on anybody's board?

and if I'm not mistaken, don't they have a probowl CB, have another CB who had a couple bad games last year, but overall is a quality player, and just signed another top notch CB (potential legal troubles noted). why on earth draft a CB with your two top picks?

and I'm right there with you on the TE situation Hawkcub. wtf?

Isnt Dusty the sooner who passed out after pumping up the team in a pregame huddle? that was sweet.

Why did the lions draft Calhoun. Millen is a turd.

Mark Anderson, DE out of Alabama.

Let's just not do anything on offense the rest of the draft.

angelo drafting as if no offensive player on the board at the time of each pick has been good enough to even sniff cracking his rotation of the 11 current starters he so smugly claims is under contract for the next half-century.

i don't think we're drafting under the assumption that any of these picks will make the team--the 22 starters we have under contract for the next half-century are good enough.

we could have gotten devin hester and manning even if we had used our pick on lewis at 26. what an absolute joke of a draft--by the far the worst 4 rounds i can remember as a bears fan in the history of the franchise.

like I said earlier, same thing with Bradley last year.

Hey Jerr, the point of finding diamonds in the rough is that you get them in the later rounds. how about some second round talent with those second round picks.

I simply cannot believe that the Bears didn't address a single offensive need in either FA or the draft. Griese is a backup. They needed a WR, a TE, and some OL depth, and they got none of these things.

Again, it's as if Angelo assumed the offense from the playoff game was the norm last season, and the defense was what was killing us all season.
