Bills second and third rounder for 26 overall.

Very nice. Marcedes will still be there by the time the Bears pick. Two extra picks. I look to add Lewis or Pope early 2nd. Moss late 2nd. CB early 3rd (Jennings, Marshall, Griffin) and possibly a guy like Rob Sims in the 3rd.

Agreed. I'd like to see Lewis and Marshall. I think that's very possible.

Angelo better hope that Lewis is still there. If it works out, he will get an extra pick out of it. If not, he lost out on Lewis just to be greedy.

Lewis would have been an overdraft at 26. Good move by the Bears. 13 picks til the Bears draft and you still have guys at non-need positions for the Bears available.

White, Jackson, Justice (though the last 2 would have been nice), Mangold, Kiwanuka, Rod Wright, Howard, Ryans, McNeil.

I'd wager most of those guys are gone by 42, if not all of them.

This Notre Dame fan hopes you take Fasano, but you probably want more of a pass-catching TE and Anthony's strength is blocking.

That was the point. I was thinking those guys would be gone, plus any need players that aren't at the top of board. Leaving either Lewis or Pope for the Bears pick.

Man, ESPN's in depth analysis on the bears pick there was amazing. And they really went in depth about that trade. Oh, wait they showed Irvin looking like an idiot, then Holmes talking like one. I wish I had NFL Network right now..

DEANGELO!!!!!!!! YES YES YES!!!!

What do the Panthers need another running back for? I know Davis is aging, but what about DeShaun Foster?

He has his share of injury concerns.

But if he comes back healthy that's two running backs that want the ball and are the same type of back. At least Davis and Foster were different types of backs.

True, but I don't think you can rely on Foster to stay healthy for a full year and playoffs. It's a good depth pick for them, IMO.

He'll tear up his knee in minicamp.

Probably before minicamp. In the next week, I'd say, depending on whether he goes grocery shopping or not.

If the Seahawks choose Justice here it would be FABULOUS!

Carolina and Seattle have been in a US/Soviet like arms race all offseason. I'd be shocked if we don't meet again in the NFC title game this year.

sorry if i'm not too educated on the draft, but what, if any, sort of plan do the bears have here? what are they going for?
