Hey Hendry! You have a left handed starter in AAA that is 1-0 with a 1.44 era, in 25 innings he has K'ed 33 and walked only 7 with a WHIP of 0.80. Why in the heck do we have a guy in the rotation with a 8+ era who has lost what 4 games now? Its not like this is brain surgery common sense would tell you a move needs to be made.

I was away so, I want to make sure I add that Rusch and Aardsma suck and Oh-Man was lucky last year. YUCK

Or Rusch and Aardsma suck and Ohman can't be good when he gets 1 appearance in the last 9 days.

Ohman's ERA was 27.00 before he had 1.5 innings (4/11). He was given the opportunity to lower it on 4/13, 4/16, and 4/18 but he averaged a run an outing. On 4/21 he lowered his ERA but he gave up 3 ER today in 2 innings. He has to pitch better consistently if he wants the manager to have the confidence to bring him into close games. The reason I said he was lucky last year, is because he was the beneficiary of good pitching by his teammates; who often left his runners on base when he exited.

Aardsma 60 pitches Novoa 56 in one inning Wow!

That's a new record for futility. I remember a Cubs-White Sox game in the summer of 2003 I believe where Shawn Estes threw 50ish pitches in the first inning and gave up 6 runs. But Novoa's 56 were definately more than that.

Fred corrected it. Novoa's 56 pitches were over two innings.

Worst Cubs game with Dusty Baker, no?

At least this game can't really be blamed on him. Rusch and the bullpen just plain sucked. Nothing Dusty could do about it.

No. There were games in 2003 that don't need to be mentioned that were FAR worse than this one.

And a question for you Chicago guys... is there any talk on the radio programs of Rusch being shipped out of town?

I mean, biggest blowout. I know what you're talking about, though.
