Juan runs hard to first on a comebacker down 7-0....pretty impressive.

Maybe he's making up for bunting the first pitch of the game when everyone was expecting him to do so.

I'd like to see the Cubs deal Pierre, Williams, Jones, Perez, Wiiliamson and Wood when he's off the DL in June.

My goodness, It's April 21st

Brenly, "You know, its fun to watch Maddux pitch a game, but its also fun to watch him watch a game from the dugout..."

The game sucks from every angle.

These guys might end up talking about a lot of things today that have nothing to do with this game.

Go into rebuilding mode now? Hendry wants to keep his job, you know. He has to make a show of competing at least until the break.

Yep and I want a move on a good season once the moves are made. I think the team would be better if these moves are made, now and in the future.

Isn't kind of funny that Novoa has already pitched MORE innings than Jerome did?

Well, funny only in that I-laugh-so-I-don't-cry sort of way.

You know things are bad when watching Greg Maddux watch the game is more entertaining than watching the game itself.

WHat really sucks about all this was I was starting to be optimistic about the season and then we lose Lee for 2 months. I'm starting to think the Cubs will never catch a break, it's unreal.

Well, I'd argue getting rid of Williams, Jones, Perez and Williamson doesn't really demonstrate a rebuilding, and I'd personally welcome Pie in Pierre's place.

I want to see if Woody has anything left.

Didnt Hendry already sign a contract extension. Maybe rebuilding would convince Dusty to leave.

Why Williamson? I agree with the rest of it, but Williamson is pretty durned good.

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you meant deal them all now except for Wood, then deal him too when he comes off the DL in June/July.

We need to keep Williamson. We should only get rid of the garbage like Neifi,Williams, Rusch, and Jones.
