I don't think the Ramirez trot was that big of a deal. There's no way he makes it to second and he isn't going to get thrown out at second. It would be a problem if it wasn't hit to dead center, of course, but it was crushed that way.

That wont happen as long as Pierre is healthy on the Cubs... but Cedeno-Murton 1-2 would look nice.

murton could bat 2nd. i don't want ronny anywhere near teh top of the lineup. once he decides to take a few more walks, cool. i love his speed and hustle.

Pierre's gonna be alright. I like what I've seen on the bases from him...once he finds his stroke, he'll be a huge addition.
