I would so let Matt Murton screw my wife... if I had one.

I'm guessing that's why u don't have one.

Just a guess.

Wives don't like Ginger Kids?

Not that. But most don't like being passed around like a...a...ho.

Not an impressive first day showing for our pen. Let's hope it gets better.

I don't often defend the arms in the Cub pen, but it is a significant weather change for them to adapt to. However, there still is little defense for Williamson not throwing strikes while up by 7.

Weather change? C'mon these guys are vets.

damn wild pitch, that could have a been a dp. Giving too many free passes and extra outs.

Never know, if he was pinched up the middle more maybe he might not have made the play

Thank goodness tomorrow is an off day. The bullpen guys will need a rest.

Also thank goodness Rusch is throwing the day after. CG. Book it.

Either that or Rusch will get ripped.

BTW sethuel, I have another Joe Morgan quote for you from last night's White Sox-Indians game. He said that left handed hitters hate pitches that are low and inside and generally do not hit them well.

Nice. What a moron.

Go post it in the Joe Morgan is an idiot thread.

Williamson put Baker in a pickle. I'm sure Dusty wanted to hold Eyre for the next ininng. Also, with the way Wuertz has been pitching, I'm certain he didn't want to go to him even though he had warmed up earlier with Ohman. As a result, Eyre threw more than he normally will.

So? Its still a change on your grip that they have to adjust to, as well as not getting the same feel for the ball in the tips of their fingers. Its a significant change, one in which many never fully adapt to. Look at guys like Maddux who pitch better as the weather warms.

Nice to see a pitcher cover first base.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the bullpen has only given up two runs today, one of which is unearned, correct? It's 12-7, right?

LOL, yup but it's been interesting with all the walks.
