MLB.com Beat the Streak League for NSBB

Greetings!

 

I'm fairly new on these boards, so wasn't quite sure how to make this request...

 

MLB's got a contest on called "Beat the Streak"

This seems a little less time consuming than fantasy, and they allow leagues to be built. I wasn't sure if NSBB did these sorts of things - there don't really need to be any prizes (from my point of view anyway) - the bragging rights would do...

 

Looks like MLB will keep track of things - we would just have to put the league together. I'd be happy to administer, but didn't want to step on any toes.

You can change your player every day. Cle v. CWS is the only game on Sunday. Pick Jason Michaels to start the season. 2-7 with 2 HRs vs. Buehrle. If not Michaels, Aaron Boone hits him well. But overall, LHs are better vs. Buehrle. Nobody in the Sox likely lineup has ever hit Sabathia well, except Dye.

I do the same thing. I close my eyes and pick some random team by dragging down the list, then I pick a player off that team.
