Dopirak is a great mistake pitch hitter, gotta give him credit for that.

Not sure if I agree with the facial hair, though.

BOTTOM OF THE FIFTH INNING

 

Worrell in to pitch for San Francisco

Pagan, pinch hitting for Pie, lined a single to right field

Pagan stole second base

Theriot flied out to right field

Ramirez walked, McGehee pinch runs

Dopirak singled to center field, Pagan scored, McGehee out at third, 8-2-5, Dopirak holding first

Coats, pinch hitting for Grissom, popped out to center field

 

1 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors, 2 men left on base

i thought that was ARam sliding for a moment. :shock: I was about to cry.

 

I woulda cried if I'd been that 3rd baseman. That just looked painful.

I thought I followed the farm systems pretty well....but I swear to God I thought Dope was a lefty!! I need to pay closer attention. I must have assumed due to him playing 1B.

 

Boy...he roped that one.

I think that was Dopirak rather than Sing.

Marshall looks good against the minor league team the Giants brought. In fact, all of the Cubs AAA and AA pitchers have looked pretty good to date. One of the only good things about the WBC and the Prior and Wood setbacks (if that is what we want to call them)is that we'll get to see a lot of the farm arms.
