lol 5 Cubs hitters represented on there between MVP, hr leader, breakout & comeback. and that doesn't include the WS MVP or the 23 y.o. ss that hit 21 bombs last year.

Nah, he's the Zobrist replacement when he leaves in 2 years and Javy fails to be a viable everyday player because he can't hit RHP. My brain just can't accept the idea of hitting on yet another prospect. But you guys are probably right. Theo drafted another dong monster and we should just keep them all. -
I haven't given up hope for Mike Olt to be a perennial 40-HR hitter just yet. As soon as he figures out those blindness issues, look out, man.

pretty happy about the bullpen depth right about now. can you imagine going into last season with a probably dead Rondon? that pen would have been lousy. instead we can comfortably slot him as the 7th guy outta the pen and not miss a beat. but please come back, dominant Hector. -

Schwarber checks in at 50 on Jonah's list, Contreras 41, Hendricks 40. I imagine we'll see three more Cubs in the top 30, maybe 4. No idea whether Baez cracks the list.

depends on your definition of special. we've suddenly been spoiled with prospect success, but as a prospect I think you have to consider him a hit. took a step forward last year too. fair enough.

i mean, polanco really hasn't been anything special though, right? the best thing to ever happen to gleyber's reputation is getting dealt to a yankees organization starving for prospects to latch onto. he went from very good prospect in a watered down minors (overall, not Cubs), to the next jeter really quickly.
