  1. Also it’s not even the first or second time DJ has loafed on a route. I mean yes blame DJ but 15 yards away from FG range I’m not sure I love the decision to throw 25 yards downfield. But that’s raw emotion talking
  2. horsefeathers Caleb. Absolutely essential to us getting there. Terrible decision at the worst time. I realize DJ had a lot to do with it but damn future is bright tho
  3. I’m not mad if we lose I’m mad how we lost if we lose. Ugh
  4. Can’t believe short yardage play calling and execution may be our deathblow
  5. May live to regret this but Stafford looks COLD
  6. 7 INTs in the regular season, 4 In the playoffs so far. That was the first that wasn’t on 4th down though
  7. wtf Rome. Wasn’t sure hands his thing in the draft?
  8. The ones they failed on were both defensible imo. One was on the first drive when you are trying to set a tone on 4th and 2. The other was on fringe FG range on 4th and 1. Maybe the play calls can be scrutinized but I’m fine with the decisions.
  9. Didn’t brisker lead the team in sacks last year or the year before? Lol
  10. Man I always agree with Ben’s 4th down decisions, and this was a no brainer IMO but I really wish we converted a higher percentage
  11. I get that 100%. I’m still questioning the decision to move Tuney to LT and then completely avoiding the left side. Eventually there is going to be an adjustment by the Rams
  12. Wow a missed call on a Bears QB? I’m shocked
  13. Man the AFC is a mess. The fact that either the Patriots, Stidham Broncos or (probably not) Texans will represent them in the Super Bowl is wild.
  14. Let’s be real, that wasn't a funeral it was a Christian nationalist rally. Whether Shaw personally shares Charlie Kirk’s most extreme views is almost beside the point, you don’t skip work during a pennant race to fly across the country for a 'casual friend.' If Kirk were just some anonymous neighbor Shaw texted occasionally, there’s no way he’s missing games for him. By choosing to be a visible part of that event, Shaw effectively endorsed Kirk’s platform, which includes the normalization of hate toward marginalized groups. You can't separate the player from the politics when the player chooses the politics over the team.
  15. I beg to differ 😂
  16. Welp, tomorrow will be the last game on the lakefront this year. Seahawks look scary good but just get to that game and we’ll see what happens.
  17. He literally skipped a game down the stretch of a playoff race to go to his memorial/rally. Not sure how you are supposed to separate his off the field actions when they directly impact his on the field performance.
  18. Rams fans all week: Bears fans are ridiculous, the weather isn’t going to be a factor! Matthew Stafford: I’m literally going to wear a scuba suit under my uniform
  19. Let's get our 6th Soldier Field game in 7 weeks with a 49ers win today and Bears win tomorrow. If that happened and we advanced to the Super Bowl this would be our last 8 games: -Chicago -Chicago -San Francisco -Chicago -Chicago -Chicago -Chicago -San Francisco
  20. Saw some interesting (but negative) data about the Rams and how they match-up against the Bears: Bears are 31st in TD and most yards per game allowed on 20+ yard passes. Stafford has completed the most 20+ yard passes in the league. He also leads the league on TD and yards on 10+ yard passes. Bears are also 31st on TD allowed and 27th in yards allowed per game on play action passes. The Rams run play action more often than any other team. Stafford has thrown 20 TD and 1 INT on play action passes, by far the best in the league. The Rams are 7th in the league in EPA per rush outside the tackles, the Bears are 29th in EPA in stopping rushes outside the tackles. The Bears are 2nd in the league in 4th quarter TDs and EPA per play in the 4th quarter, and 1st in yards per play in the 4th quarter. The Rams are somehow tied with the Bears in all 3 stats. On the plus side, the Rams really bad on plays when the QB scrambles, and one of the worst teams at allowing yards when they blitz. ---- Of course the Rams have seen a noticeable dip across the board the last several weeks and the conditions may make it hard for them to do what they normally do well. Can absolutely win this game.
  21. This 100%, there's not going to be a salary cap. But I'm also not sure what the eventual lockout is going to ultimately result in. The current luxury tax penalties are fairly punitive and enough to stop ~25/30 teams from exceeding and 28/30 teams from greatly exceeding (including the Mets though the Dodgers lap them even still). The Dodgers are losing like 5 of their top 7 draft picks next year and paying $2 for every $1 they spend and it isn't slowing them down, it's wild.
  22. I wonder when they will reschedule the Wrigley all-star game for since next year's won't be played certainly.
  23. Right? It pisses me off that it’s even being discussed even if the Cubs aren’t seriously intending to trade him. I’d think the Cubs should be focused on extension if anything.
  24. ngl even though it only played approximately 50 songs and only 30 were good, im gonna miss the classic hip hop station.
