    Let's say they play Friday's game, but Saturday and Sunday get washed out. The Cubs enter a Monday doubleheader either 1 GB or tied for the 1st WC spot. I'm sure HFA is important, and if the other contender is San Diego, you'd like to avoid playing a DH in Boston and flying cross country for a game the next day. But do you really burn your pitching staff down trying to win HFA? It's really a no win situation for the Cubs. So they should probably just sweep the next 4 games and hope SD loses once or twice to make the weekend games less important.

    There was an OL on the Falcons that just did it. Concussion week 1, and played week 2.

    Am I crazy that this doesn't really bother me that much? I mean he's not great, but I think he'll be competent. He's a veteran who has had success in this league. He's been on the team for both Ben Johnson seasons so definitely knows how to run the offense and likely has some chemistry with the receivers. I'm not saying he'll be amazing, but I think he'll run the offense decently enough to stay in the game if the defense can do their part (which they probably won't but still)

    I mean if they just let us bang on trash cans he wouldn’t need to stand so close to the plate. This is on the MLB.

    Oh yeah. That was annoying and led to our downfall with all our gassed pitchers getting lit up in the NLDS.
