iowa st had as many wins over tournament teams last week (4) as nova has had since January 1. though the fact that I'm mildly irritated about a 3 seed makes me pretty happy.

I thought byu wasn't being given proper due by people. Rpi of 31, top 25 SOS. they seemed clearly in to me.

don't really think duke or uva have anything on iowa st resume wise either. getting my hopes way too high for a 2 seed...

Well self is working with mcdonalds AAs and lottery picks while hoiberg is working with three stars and JC/mid major transfers.

Well losing Embiid makes you look a lot more human on defense. Last three games you have given up over 90 twice. so sad that they're down to only five McDonald AAs! hoiberg coached circles around self. wow. Once in 25 games. Give him a lifetime contract! he's beat kansas twice in the last 3 years (i'll throw out his first year since he inherited a mess). and he's a mclemore banked 3 and a miscarriage of justice from 4 wins in 3 seasons. I can live with that. you think there's another team in the conference that's competed better against kansas the last 3 seasons?

I'm no huge fan of ejim, but i don't think it's crazy/wrong for the coaches to reward a four year guy who wasn't a huge prospect and was kind of a lunch pail guy over a one and done guy. though ejim has kinda sucked lately and Kane was probably better overall. annoyed that smart got first team though. that's [expletive].

Prospect draft. Would have been a tougher call had he signed in February or something, but this is a no brainer. We're right in the middle of the MLB draft.
