i realize i'm probably jinxing iowa st into losing on a barrage of 3 pointers, but UNC only has TWO guys make more than 8 3s on the season. TWO! a guy that transferred from iowa st at semester and played 38 minutes all season would be fourth on their team in 3s.

Duke fans probably felt the same way after Missouri lost as a 2-seed in the first round in 2012. yeah, but duke and iowa st are 3 seeds. totally different.

iowa st had as many wins over tournament teams last week (4) as nova has had since January 1. though the fact that I'm mildly irritated about a 3 seed makes me pretty happy.
