there is seriously no fan base who pulls the "well, our starting ___ was hurt," "we were down to our 3rd string ____," "oh [some fluke play] cost us the game," "our program murdered _____ right before that game," than stupid ND fans. unbearable.
-
any boost pena provides to the offense will be negated when they trade fukudome, so i can't get too excited about the deal.

damn it, i thought iowa was going to be terrible. iowa state needs to win out in their non-con to keep my interest.
-
if petco park wasn't already on your banned list, it would be now.

Cubs after Laroche

also, who gives a [expletive] about 1b defense. the cubs need 1b offense. -
iowa will be favored against both uni and isu?
-
if the cubs end up digging through the bargain bin for a 1b, i'm going to be pissed if they then blow multiple millions of dollars on a stupid set up man.
-
i don't think anyone really gives a [expletive] about temple being left out. it's more of an indication as to how bad the system is that one 8-4 team beat another 8-4 team and gets left out of a bowl, while the team that lost the head to head matchup goes to a friggin' bcs bowl.

After soliciting MSU, Cecil may have come to the realization that he may not get a prominent school to pony up cash.....and that his actions were putting a great risk on whether or not his son would be able to prove he is NFL draft worthy. oh that's adorable.

I'm not sure how $14m is steep in price. we get it, living in new york is expensive.
-
7th man prolly.
-
barnes should have gone to iowa state so he could play for a winner.
-
North Texas, not aTm. i always get those two confused.

former iowa state head coach dan mccarney hired at texas a&m. http://www.gatorsports.com/article/20101128/ARTICLES/101129567/1136?Title=McCarney-takes-North-Texas-job-source-confirms

They should've held it at an empty lot in College Station. why would they have it at texas tech?
-
will gameday be there?

i prefer mississippi because it bothers OMC. also like the university of old mississippi. is there any way the bcs rankings of wisconsin, osu and msu could change next week even though none of them play? i would enjoy that.

wow, what an embarrassment iowa's season has been.

can you explain your disdain for boise? The blue field. The hatred is completely irrational but they infuriate me, and I'm pretty sure it goes back to the Blue field. The Statue of Liberty play, the "America's Sweetheart" crap. The lack of any good teams on their schedule. The fact they can play one game a season and go to a BCS game. yeah, i'm SO sick of the whopping two BCS bowls they've been in.* *and won.
-
haven't quite gotten that quote thing down. put that poor kicker on suicide watch. yikes.
-
oregon barely beat cal, which got blown out by nevada. yet this game is evidence that boise is nowhere near the best team in the country. right. Oregon has to play more than 3 real teams this year though. They've played two bowl eligible teams this season. Congrats. Pac-10 still > WAC by a wide wide margin. OH REALLY

at least it wasn't a total waste of a weekend for isu sports. isu is up 3 against creighton with 10 seconds left and their best FT shooter at the line for 2. of course, he misses them both. creighton player dribbles down the court and gets fouled on a 2 pt attempt with 3 seconds left. makes the first, misses the second, and of course creighton gets the rebound. creighton player is fouled on a shot with 1.6 left and of course makes both free throws to tie the game. then this... http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=819177185360&oid=49525610444&comments appears well after the buzzer, but the game wasn't on tv, so no review. i'll take it.

always fun to lose by 2 scores when you outgain your opponent. probably would have been a different game with arnaud in there, but oh well. if you can't beat a winless colorado team 2 days after they fire their coach when you're playing for a bowl bid, you probably don't deserve to go to a bowl.

i believe newton. i mean, he was willing to play at mississippi state for $180,000, so it makes perfect sense that he would be willing to play at auburn for $0.00. reminds me of that one time that baseball free agent wanted a 5 yr/$100 million contract, but then ended up signing for 5 yr/$0.

was gameday there?
