    That hit and run was perhaps the worst decision I've seen a Cubs manager make since I've been baseball aware It makes negative sense

    and his BAA the last three years is like .150. he's so ridiculous when he just throws strikes... or even if he walks 1 man every 2 innings he's amazing. He plays the game against himself. The batter rarely beats him, he really just plays the game against an imaginary dude standing there for a strike zone. He loses this game too much though.

    i'm 10000000% positive us not scoring with Kosuke on 3rd is going to come and haunt us but so it must be, for we are the cubs, and we have angered the baseball gods for all time

    The only thing that lessens the pain of being a Cubs fan is watching the trainwreck of the Mets season. Every thing they do compounds the problems they already have. Francouer has been on downward spiral for his career the last two years, and despite his youth he has never on based even the league average. Really really bad trade by the Mets.

    This is a pretty cool video because you can hear Soriano hitting a home run in the background and I'm 50-50 on him ever hitting another one again reminiscing on better days :P

    I'm getting some hardcore schadenfreude from seeing DeRosa potentially out for the season for the Cardinals. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but to see the Cardinals send one of their better relievers in return for basically nothing is so great. Too bad we wont take advantage of this.

    Putting Hart in the rotation is pretty bad, but I'd rather he in than Samardzija. Marshall simply isn't stretched out to go, unless you want to piggy back him or something. Really not that many better options, we just could have hoped that Dempster not go and break his foot doing something stupid honestly.

    Really not the best match up we could hope for We're gonna need a lot of runs because Hart just isn't that good. Really painful not having Dempster out there. We need to win this game. We need to score a lot runs. Just do it cubs, this is the kinda game you guys love to drop, fight that urge today. Just win. Just win.

    That was one of the suckier games this season I wish we could win some of these, it would really help. I hate being shutdown completely

    You can always tell when the Cubs are doing better because we return to the same inane discussions that usually revolve around the same stupid arguments So...cool I guess
