  1. It would be wonderful to get out of this
  2. Question: How many points below 200 does Miles' batting average have to be before Lou stops playing him. Permanently.
  3. I think it something about these anti-lefty lineups that Lou trots out because they are always much less talented than the typical lineup.
  4. Honestly. I don't know how this guy is this fragile without having some sort of syndrome like Rocco Baldelli. He can't run the bases, he can't play the field, now he hurts himself swinging the bat. Its a cliche about baseball players, but come on dude, figure out someway to not hurt yourself.
  5. If he's playing injured it still doesn't excuse this because its pretty stupid and perhaps selfish to go out there and suck up and possibly worsen the injury if he isn't then I might just be done with defending him. I was for the signing, I was a fan of it, and I've had his back for these few months. But every game is the same, he just hasn't hit the ball well. I keep hoping to see him turn the corner because he still has a good eye for the zone and seems to put some good hacks on balls but he clearly isn't all there now.
  6. Wandy Rodriguez is a bad pitcher but seems to have put together a good season so far lets fix that
  7. Sox have come back from 3 down in the bottom of the 9th, and Konerko hit what should have been the walk off Exciting stuff
  8. I think moving Marshall to the bullpen completely ruined him
  9. I gotta say as great as this game has been, this has been one of the more erratic zones I've witnessed this season
  10. arghghghghghg i remember that game it was the worst game
  11. Good battling outing for Lilly, he never had amazing control all day but still got the job done
  12. The Cubs look really happy in the dug out :D
  13. Yo, Kata, make an out already jesus you're pissing me off
  14. This isn't really a 'debacle' he's just having a bad night What the heck guys, at least he doesn't have the Soriano approach yet, i'm glad he's at least trying
  15. Sorta impressive at bat or Soriano if he can lay off that obvious low and away sliders he could get hot agin because they'll be forced to throw stuff over the plate
  16. soriano late on 83 mile per hour pitches, woot
  17. Yo, Lilly, I would prefer if you would not walk the pitcher His command isn't fantastic today and I get the feeling we might need more runs
  18. Lol, Blanco swung at complete crap twice in a row
  19. Glad to see Fontenot heating up Now get Soto on track and we can start seeing some results
  20. not that i'm going to pretend to have been in support of having Ibanez because I'm not but damn he's raking I'll admit I would have taken MB over Ibanez, but I would have taken Abreu and Dunn over MB. Honestly, just keeping DeRosa and Hoffpauir would have been OK. I wouldn't have gone with Abreu, but Dunn probably, even with his defense.
  21. everytime Fontenot "throws" the ball from 3rd I have to draw in breath because i'm never sure if its gonna make it there in time or in distance
  22. not that i'm going to pretend to have been in support of having Ibanez because I'm not but damn he's raking
  23. i still don't understand how you have the balls to take those 2 pitches that easily could have struck you out, and then swing at that crap pitch
  24. ugh ugh Bradley you might as well had taken strike 3 then, you just almost did it twice before
