Well, I'm not worried about us scoring runs validating moving Z to the bullpen, because that makes no sense...but I would be worried if Z continues to look amazing in the pen and helps us win games while we have other starters out there struggling Basically any excuse to pull Gorzellany or Silva out of the rotation down the line would be a good one (its only a matter of time folks)

Also this makes them sending Lee off because he was too expensive to keep (8 million a year) really look ridiculous How about you don't extend Howard, you give an extension to Werth, keep Lee and win the World Series this year? Nah? -
Oh jesus if we lose I'm gonna be ever so pissed because of things like this I actually find it bittersweet when opposing players go down because that just means someone stupidly bad is going to beat us when we do lose (Jason Michaels, Geoff Blum, etc) Oh well, channel the 2009 Cubs in only one facet, the 4 game sweep of the Nationals to open up the second half of the season last year. That was the only good moment of that year, lets relive it.

Yeah this will end up blowing up in the Phillies' faces, Howard does not have the skills that age well and he still has never figured out how to hit lefties, nor does he play good defense. Even Baseball Between the Numbers correctly predicted (In 2005 after his ROY season) that this would happen -
I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, its nice to see the Cubs hammer a team so thoroughly, on the other hand I was feeling secure in knowing we weren't going anywhere besides these games against the Brewers. Oh well, I guess they wont chase me out off this quickly. Just put Zambrano back in the rotation as soon as possible, kthx

Agreed with whoever said "If the Bears are good then they will win games, schedule be damned" and I also agree with whoever said "Who cares how many games we win, just want to see Cutler do well in 2nd year" This roster aint gonna win any championships so we need the key role players to make strides. Hope we can make another Super Bowl run before Urlacher is too old to contribute

I think they at least make the finals. The Magis were a problem for them when they had Hedo. Now that they don't have that mismatch in their advantage I think Cleveland beats them. Ah yes, Hedo who has torn it up with the Raptors this year. And Vince Carter who's done nothing at all for the Magic. They are even better than they were last year, fear the Magic. They also have a healthy and effective Jameer Nelson who wasn't at their disposal last ECF

I'm not ashamed to say that I don't follow baseball as closely as I have in the past, partly because of the Cubs declining and partly because I don't play fantasy baseball anymore. I'll say this, Wandy Rodriguez might be one of the least impressive effective pitchers there are. He definitely doesn't pass the "eye-test." Everytime we play him it seems like we miss fastballs, swing at crap all over the place and ground out a whole lot. Anecdotal, worthless, completely goes against my statistically minded self, but these are my impressions. Billy Beane would have fired me years ago. So [expletive] you Wandy Rodriguez you ugly baby faced horrible person Also why would I pay close attention to the Astros anyway? They ceased to be interesting after Ed Wade took the helm, shipped off all their worthwhile prospects and signed aging has-been's to ridiculous contracts OH crap thats pretty much the same story of Jim Hendry :lol:
