  1. all these questions are still standing. WHO WILL ANSWER THEM?
  2. They've already stated that he's not going to be called up for the interleague games only to be sent back down. Once he's called up later this month, he's here for good.
  3. He got to the base faster by doing that. I wish he would have jammed his ankle and gotten to the DL faster.
  4. Don't worry guys, I got this. Garza is TOTALLY going to give up like 8 more runs today.
  5. Think there may be more posts about Reed's ugly slide than the rest of the game. And I'm not even surprised or upset about that.
  6. Reed safe on an infield single. Garza to third. Reed's slide was the worst i've ever seen. Just terrible.
  7. Garza doubles - his first career extra base hit.
  8. garza has a crazy look in his eye and apparently talking to himself.
  9. That sucks. My last name is Wiseman and I'd LOVE for a Wiseman to play for the Cubs. I know nothing about him, but much like this post, Twitter says he's a "swing for the fences" pick and a tough sign. I want him. He's a Vandy commit. Extremely smart. Solid, all around CF. Borderline top 100 guy, but has always wanted to play for Vanderbilt. And apparently not signable.
  10. That sucks. My last name is Wiseman and I'd LOVE for a Wiseman to play for the Cubs.
  11. Sporting a 282/352/600(!) line since May 1st.
  12. What does that even mean? Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
  13. I think BA had him with great plate discipline - maybe ranked 3rd? I don't think that should be a concern at this time. EVERY report raves about his baseball IQ (and overall IQ) and with his polish, I think the walks will come in time. It just doesn't signal a red flag to me right now.
  14. I'll watch, but more interested in the draft (as I'd imagine many of you are). I'm pretty much just counting down the days until Rizzo arrives and hoping Jackson can stay hot and make his arrival shortly thereafter. My most obnoxious cousin is a Brewers fan that irrationally hates the Cubs. I think it's a jealous of the attention thing. I also don't think he likes me or the rest of the family. He's a swell guy. Go Cubs!
  15. Does this mean this is a national blackout. I REALLY hate MLB blackout restrictions! Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
  16. It's my birthday. Win this one for me. Thanks.
  17. While that would be big news, its not exactly the news those guys would be talking about. Don't get me wrong, it would be "big news" but it seemed to be prefaced as news that would "shake up things". Just my interpretation, which means absolutely nothing. 18. hahahaha I didn't realize it until I read this, but I feel the exact same way I like the Lakers because I root for Metta World Peace. This completely blows away my family and most friends. I mean how could you possibly not love someone that is that bat-[expletive] crazy?
  19. Wood hasn't had many innings this year. His problems have stemmed from location - not stuff. This is at least my interpretation. I'm far from an expert, but he is still hitting 95 and still has movement on his pitches to be an above average relieved. If he can't regain his control that is one thing, but I'm not ready to give up on him yet. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
  20. Doesn't really matter if he hits well enough. That's a big if, though. It does if they want to improve defensively. Even then to ask a guy who's basically 30 and not very athletic to do that you're increasing his chances of getting hurt. Nothing about this says good idea. I'm at work and cant look up the numbers, but you make it seem as if he's never played a game in the OF before. He's had a lot of experience there in the minors and its not like he hasn't always had his current body type. If he didn't hurt himself playing OF in the minors, I don't see why you'd worry about that now. And so what if they downgrade on defense if his offense more than makes up for it (which it almost certainly would when the alternative is Soriano). ETA: takes a while to type on this phone. See that Kyle beat me. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
  21. Yeah, I went to Bleacher Nation and read about it a few minutes ago. I'm not sure why I didn't just do that in the first place.
