The Tech defense is not good at all. KU will put up a lot of points, already 7-7. Can't you take Tech out and put any big 12 team in the same spot without being wrong? I would argue that Texas and OU both have good defense, with Texas getting much better every week. Probably won't be able to really tell until the bowl games though.

Why even talk about the UW vs. ND game? We can all argue who has the prettiest piece of turd another day. We have a couple of really good games today that will have a major impact on next weeks polls, and a couple of potential sleepers as well.

Was this confirmed? I thought it was just speculation cause he was training with them so he can stay fit for England callups. Been running on all the news bottom lines today. Says he will stay with them till the end of the season.

It barely felt like he was even in the game last week. Half the time I saw him he was on the sideline while the offense was on the field.

If someone else is going to sign him for very cheap and have him work his way back up, then why not us. I have no problem with it simply because you are not planning to get anything out of it. -

I love talking to Baylor alumni about Singletary and how they don't blame him for not wanting to take the job down their. As much money as the university makes and puts into other programs its like they gave up on football. He seems like the unanimous choice for the job too among them.

Can we please stop saying that our 2007 regular season was good? Considering how bad the first 6-8 weeks of 2007 were, I think the 2007 was pretty good.

Hendry has managed to do a pretty good job in not giving up key players. Outside of Gallagher, gave up nothing for Harden.

The ratings may suck for this one worse than last years. Hopefully Tampa will win it this year and have a hangover next year. I don't want to see them more determined and pissed by losing to Philly. -
I would love to see what Hermida could do in Wrigley for 81 games. The Cubs haven't had a legit LH power threat since.....Billy Williams? Unless you count the 1 good year each from Henry Rodriguez, Mark Bellhorn (switch), and Rick Wilkins. Hermida has 30-40 HR potential. Shawn Green jumped from 16 to 35 HRs at 25, this should be the time Hermida makes a similar jump. I'll gladly take 1998-2002 Shawn Green.

OkSU fans tend to get their panties in a wad when you refer to anyone from Oklahoma as "okies". It's one of those regional slurs that originated during the Great Depression. I personally don't mind it, though. I will be cheering for the bright orange clad sheep shaggers this week, though. :banghead: The sad state of Oklahoma ;-)
