Even tho I don't think they are the best team in football---I don't see a clear cut best team in America---because they don't play defense. With that said, I much rather let Texas have that target on their back then my team. Thus I much rather let Texas be ranked #1. So who is and why? alabama, because he's an alabama fan. I know, I just think its funny that Texas doesn't play defense because they gave up points to OU and Missouri two of the highest scoring offenses in the nation. Not to mention having one of the youngest defenses around that has shown signs of improvement every week. Plus having one of the top 2-3 D-Lineman in the Nation. That 3 points in the first half to Mizzou wasn't impressive at all, or 7 points to OU in the second half either.

I don't even know who is scheduled to start tomorrow, but should Tampa consider starting David Price? Boston hasn't really seen him yet, and he has just as much potential to dominate as anyone else they have. As comfortable as Boston has been the last 12 innings, a tall power lefty might be enough of a shock. -

17-14 Kentucky 24-20 Ole Miss Beating Clemson is not impressive. They're 3-4. Alabama beat Clemson when they were the 9th in the nation. This revisionalist argument has got to stop. You can't fault Alabama for Clemson for sucking after that game. As for Kentucky and Ole Miss this two teams are very good, on the rise SEC teams that have really good defenses. This teams can beat any team in football. Kentucky and Ole Miss are quality oppenents that Alabama has beaten, and by the end of the yr BOTH will be playing in good size bowl games. i almost feel like printing this post out just so i can read it every day for a good laugh what terrible logic (not to mention english) The funny thing is the SEC gets more accusations of cheating than any other conference in NCAA, with probably the most coming from Bama. Not to mention Saben has had his share of that, and is easily the biggest pimp of a head coach in the nation. If he stays more than 2 more years at Bama I will be shocked.

I think there are just a lot of questions on if Alabama peaked too early in the season. They looked amazing against Georgia, but not so much since then, where teams like Florida have begun to play a lot better.

Beat Bama. Is that game in Knoxville? Yes, and not likely. Alabama plays better on the road right now....Tennessee couldn't beat Auburn, so I doubt they'll beat Alabama. But this is the SEC so who knows... I don't think Alabama is that great. Texas, PSU, USC, OU, and UF would blast them I think. I disagree. Bama is very talented, but also very young. They'll look dominant one week (Clemson, UGA) and mediocre the next (Tulane, Kentucky). If they're on, though, they might be the best team in the nation. Does looking dominant against Clemson mean anything at this point? I wouldn't put their best game within 10 points of USC's, Florida's, or UT's best game. JPW is very average. It means Clemson is now looking for a new coach.

Hah. No kidding. McCoy is a stud. I'm glad with Snead though. We haven't had a QB in 5 years since Eli left. I thought Snead had more raw talent, and Colt had grown into his body. Colt just has unbelievable instincts and leadership, very much like Major did. He had more time to study the offense and was ahead of the curve on Snead. Snead is very tough, and when I was watching him as a freshman had a great arm.

I've been pulling for them, hoping to see Snead have a nice run. He's much faster than I thought. He reminds me a lot of a young Brett Favre in his evasiveness and stuff. His size is almost identical too. I remember thinking he would beat out McCoy after Young left. Something I don't mind being wrong about :-).
