    The way these refs protect Dwyane Wade (and LeBron, but that's not germane to this game) is utterly sickening to me. Wade gets a total BS foul call against Big Ben with 1.8 seconds to go, then hacks Kirk on the last shot with no call. Unbelievable.

    Yeah, just wait until practices and media day and stuff. media day is covered live on NFL network ESPNews will be covering it as well, although I'm sure not as extensively.

    ND beats Nova 66-63. That might've been the ugliest sporting event I've ever witnessed, but I'll take it.

    The refs in this ND game are as ugly as the shooting. Maybe uglier.

    I'd hope there are many more options available should they win. I know I'd want a navy SB champs shirt in that situation.

    WSBT Radio in South Bend is reporting that Kyle McAlarney is planning on returning to ND in the summer and rejoining the basketball team next season rather than transfer. :D Such great news, and with a huge game against Villanova tomorrow on ESPN, it came at just the right time.

    I'm extremely hesitant to make any deals. Just as presently constructed, this unit can and probably should win the East.

    Oddly enough, I think Z is the only Cubs starter I've seen pitch more than once - I saw him once each in 2004 and 2005. ETA: Nope, I've seen Maddux twice too - once each in 2005 and 2006.

    Cards lose a tight one, 60-54 to Kent State. I'm in the "moral victories" stage with this team. Skip Mills and Micah Rollin each had 14.

    Irish lose 71-68 despite a superhuman 32-point, 6-rebound effort for Russell Carter. I'm so pissed off right now.

    Big Ben with the fro tonight. Bulls look fairly good early. Up 25-20.
