  1. We have a chance to be tied for first and lose to a crappy St. John team. It's going to be a wide open race to the #1 spot for the Garden. ND's just one game out of first right now and don't have to play Pitt :D The bad news is we still haven't won a road game yet and ND goes to the Carrier Dome a week from tomorrow. That could be trouble if the Irish don't take the two games this week like they need to.
  2. Update? Come on, this is toeing the line of arrogance, isn't it?
  3. So some terrible calls in this one helped make a 17-point difference in this game: 1. The absolutely inexcusable PI call on Hobbs in the endzone when he made absolutely no interference whatsoever. 2. The absolutely inexcusable PI noncall when Caldwell was tackled in the endzone. Pats kick a FG instead. 3. The absolutely inexcusable roughing the passer call, which was, considering the situation, probably the worst of all those pathetic excuses for penalties. As you can tell, I don't like the Colts.
  4. I'll be eagerly filing reports to see if Ball State survives this game. 60 percent Colts fans + 25 percent Bears fans here, so I expect some street brawls.
  5. How does that work? Out of 32 teams, the 2nd seed in one conference picks before 7 other teams?
  6. Well, even though I wanted the Saints to win for divisional pride, etc., a part of me has also felt bad since last year for what Steve Smith did to you guys (and what Lovie Smith did to you guys re: Steve Smith), so I'm also glad to have the Bears in the Super Bowl. The bad news for Bears fans: My 2-8 playoff picking record is going with the Bears over the Colts.
  7. On that play Bush looked like Fresno State 2005 all over again.
  8. One day, a huge game will be decided by some idiot doing that, and it won't happen anymore.
  9. ND cruised over South Florida 82-58, as well they should have. Next up is a trip to St. John's. ND doesn't play well in the state of New York.
  10. If Hester takes one back today that place is going to crumble to the ground with all the celebration.
  11. I remember the Panthers playing in Super Bowl XXXVIII, and if you guys are half as nervous as you sound, you've got me beat in terms of excitability for a big sporting event.
  12. Tell her you're tired of cleaning up her s**t and you want breadsticks too.
  13. Cheering for a divisional rival? Interesting. I would never support the Vikings over some random NFC West team. We are 18 minutes away from GAMEDAY!!!! BEAR DOWN! Being as we swept them this year, I have a hard time mustering up the ill will towards them.
  14. This Dee Brown crap really got under my skin at the end. Win would've tied us for 1st in the conference, but instead we're now 4th.
  15. Z Sighting!! (He was wearing cornrows...dreads...whatever)
  16. I could really care less about Deron Williams or the Illini, so can we not bring that up every single time we mention him? Bulls look iffy. Down 22-17.
  17. A Bulls win plus a Cavs loss to Golden State would put Chicago as the top seed in the East...
  18. A group of friends and I are gathering at Scotty's Brewhouse here in Muncie to root for the Patriots. I'm sure that'll go over well. :P
  19. I'm always so jealous when an upset like this happens.
  20. <--- was so bored he went to a Ball State women's game today The team's 15-2 and 6-0 in the MAC though, so it's not a complete waste of time.
